Meet Nicola, a 39 year old dentist from Cheshire. Nicola’s weight had gradually crept up over the years and after having her two children, had found it increasingly difficult to lose it. She’d tried all manner of diet plans but not with any long term success, always putting the weight back on, usually with a little bit more!

Nicola had ruled out a weight loss surgery procedure as she didn’t want anything too invasive so the gastric balloon procedure sounded ideal. This is a blog of her gastric balloon journey and we’ll follow her story as she gives an honest account of life with a gastric balloon.
