Mr Hasan Kasem, a highly accomplished Consultant Surgeon, has deep roots in Lanarkshire, where he grew up and attended school. He obtained his BSc (Med Sci) and MBChB degrees from the University of Edinburgh in 1991. Following graduation, he returned to the West of Scotland for his training, eventually earning his Specialist Consultant qualification in 2003 (FRCS Gen Surg, Upper GI).
